Rehabilitative Gerontology

Gerontology is the science of age and aging. The term age describes a condition and is usually used in relation to the phase of life in old age. Aging describes the process of aging and associated mechanisms.

Gerontology focuses on the everyday life of aging people and their relatives. It is an interdisciplinary field that combines perspectives from rehabilitation science, psychology, medicine, pedagogy, social sciences and biology.
