BM 3 Research methods and evaluation: Proximity to the Subject

The aim of the basic module 3 is to teach students the concept of Evidence Based Practice (EBP) and Evidence Based Medicine (EBM). The focus is on evaluation standards within quantitative and qualitative research paradigms, as well as the success factors and effectiveness of interventions in national and international comparison. In addition, evaluation goals and their operationalization are addressed, and various evaluation designs are presented. In addition, students get to know relevant national and international publications that serve as the basis for scientific publications.

Exam - BM3

The examination has a writing and an oral part. The written part includes the preparation of a poster with a research question suitable for a master thesis. The oral part consists of presenting and defending the poster.
