Teaching Evaluation
Starting in the 2022/23 winter semester, teaching evaluations at the HF will be conducted using the “EvaSys” software. This system is also used by all other faculties at the UzK. Surveys are managed centrally in EvaSys: This has the advantage for you that, in the case of mandatory surveys—such as those required for upcoming reaccreditations—you no longer need to worry about carrying them out.
On the other hand, we would like to continue offering you the opportunity to have your courses evaluated independently of any obligations and to allow students to provide you with feedback. Please contact us by

The survey is typically conducted during the third-to-last week of the lecture period. If you wish to conduct a survey at other times—for example, for block courses—please notify us of your desired survey period (max. seven days) at least 14 days in advance in the format DD.MM - DD.MM.
Survey Procedure
Once your course has been registered for the survey, you and all course participants registered in KLIPS will be automatically notified via email when the evaluation begins. You will receive a QR code and a link that lead directly to the evaluation (“link-based evaluation”). Anyone with the QR code or link can participate in the survey without identity verification. To prevent misuse, you should therefore not post either of these online without protection.
Students can participate in the evaluation on their own (in their free time). However, to increase the response rate, we recommend making the QR code available during a session (online or in-person). Ideally, you should allow students a few minutes at the beginning of the session to complete the questionnaire on their personal devices (laptop, smartphone, etc.). In this case, please ensure that the anonymity of the participants is maintained.
The questionnaire was developed in collaboration with all faculties within the Evaluation Instruments sub-area and is used across all faculties. A sample can be viewed here. This sample is for informational purposes only and cannot be used for the survey.
Feedback
After the survey period ends, instructors will receive the evaluation results via email. The responses cannot be traced back to individual students. For this reason, results are only provided if at least five people participated in the survey.
