Practical orientation in the Study program

The integration of the Center for Psychotraumatology/ Clinic for Psychosomatic Medicine as a teaching and research department of the University of Cologne makes it possible that all three basic modules can be taught in a practice-oriented manner. This refers to the implementation of the case report in basic module 1, the observation of institutions for psychiatric hospital treatment and rehabilitation, as well as institutions for vocational rehabilitation and integration support. The clinical structures of the center are particularly suitable for pursuing cross-sector and cross-jurisdictional case management, which is of central importance for the transfer of knowledge in rehabilitation management.
