PC Pools
The Faculty of Human Sciences has various computer workstations that are managed by the Media Network.
Courses and events also take place in these rooms. During these times, the rooms are not available for public use.
PC Pools for Teaching
Computer pools available for teaching:
All course rooms are equipped with a permanently installed projector. A high-performance computer is connected to these for instructors. Login to the instructor PCs and student workstations is done using the University of Cologne IDM account (SMail or staff account).
Additionally, in rooms R.2119B and M01A, staff laptops can be connected via an Extron system.
Some of the workstations are set up for students' laptops (laptop workstations).
- PC Pool Frangenheimstraße 4 : Room M01A (22 workstations + 2 laptop workstations)
- PC Pool Gronewaldstraße 2 : R.2119A (12 workstations + 3 laptop workstations)
- PC Pool Gronewaldstraße 2 : R.2119B (26 workstations + 4 laptop workstations)
Opening hours:
Mon-Fri: 08:00-18:00
Additional Computer Workstations
The following rooms have computer workstations provided and maintained by the Media Network, but are not available for teaching and training:
- Herbert-Lewin-Str. (10 workstations)
- Reading room and lending UB HF Gronewaldstraße 2 (22 workstations)
- Special Education Reading Room Frangenheimstraße 4 (10 workstations)
