Software equipment according to program groups
The software below is currently installed on the PoolPCs.
The software is the result of an editorial pre-selection.
All software is thematically divided into functional groups to facilitate quick orientation. Also, it is possible to an overview üoverview üof the various to provide program versions that that Users of our pools not yet known are to be got to know once.
The abbreviation OS in the list below stands for Open Source. These tools are therefore in principle freely available to everyone and can also be obtained, for example, by students for homework during seminars outside our pools;
According to recent studies (see e.g. hier ) and recommendations of working groups, open source software is particularly suitable for production because it allows cost effective editing or Content creation is made possible and freely available to everyone as a tool.
This applies in particular to the production of free educational materials.
Open Educational Resources ( = "OER" , s. Youtube Channel des OERINFORM Project) describe free learning and teaching materials, which includes an open license such as the "Creative Commons" or GNU General Public License. Contents with such a license can generally be used free of legal concerns, redistributed and processed.

The above function groups together with the software listed in the table can be found on each of the computers in the Pool M01 at Frangenheimstrasse 4 and also in Room 2119A and Room 2119B at Building 216/ Gronewaldstrasse 2
