Sprechstunde
jeweils montags zwischen 10:30 und 11:30 Uhr. Kürzere Anliegen können gerne vor oder nach dem Seminar besprochen werden. In der vorlesungsfreien Zeit findet die Sprechstunde am 27.07., 10.08. und 07.09. von 10:30 bis 11:30 Uhr statt. Alternative Termine können per Mail vereinbart werden.
Dr. Marie Heijens studied psychology at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and the University of Cologne. Her research stays have taken her to institutions including the Arctic University of Tromsø and King’s College London. Since 2023, she has been a research associate in the field of social sciences with a focus on economic education at the Faculty of Human Sciences at the University of Cologne. She has finisher her doctorate on the professionalization of teachers, with a focus on political education and emotions in December 2025. She is involved in the projects Feasibility Study “Monitor Political Education” (Federal Agency for Civic Education) and ReTransfer (Federal Ministry of Education and Research). Her research interests include the effectiveness of teacher education, political education in teacher training, and emotional processes in the context of political learning and teaching. Additionally, she is interested in the use of quantitative methods in empirical educational research.
