Scientific research accompanying the project “!nKA – inclusion project for the joint training of young people with and without disabilities”

Description

The aim of !nkA - a project of UnternehmensForum e. V. - is to create a total of 40 additional inclusive training positions for young people with severe disabilities during the period from 2013 to 2019. The existing training structures of the project partners are adapted to the respective needs of the young people: barriers are identified and broken down in collaboration with the network. The aim is also to sustainably improve the structures of inclusive vocational training through derived recommendations for action and targeted public relations work. Other employers and people starting their careers should also be made aware of the issue and ultimately send educational policy signals. As part of the accompanying scientific research, the Chair of Work and Vocational Rehabilitation evaluates the extent to which these goals are being achieved. Of particular interest here are the heterogeneous target perspectives of the various groups of actors, especially those of company representatives and trainees. Different research methods are used such as individual and group interviews, written/online surveys, network analysis and process support.
