Conception and Evaluation of School Support with Focus on Learning
The Teaching and Research Unit "Conception and Evaluation of School Support with Focus on Learning" under the direction of Prof. Dr. Matthias Grünke is dedicated to the scientific foundation and empirical examination of support concepts for students with learning disabilities. The focus is on evidence-based intervention approaches and their systematic implementation and evaluation in the school context.
The research priorities include the development and investigation of effective teaching-learning arrangements, the professionalization of pedagogical practice, and transfer research between science and school practice. Through the close integration of research, teaching, and practical application – for example in the learning clinic GaRFIELd – the unit contributes to quality assurance and advancement of special education support in the area of learning disabilities.
