André Uelner, Eleanna Pitsikaki, and Ronja Kampschulte will lead a workshop at the 13th Federal Congress on Cultural Policy (https://kupobuko.de/) in Berlin, as part of the co-research in WP3 of dialoguing@rts, on the topic “The Illusion of Neutrality: Transcultural Negotiation as a Stance.”

Past Lectures/Workshops

In April 2026, Eileen O'Grady presented a paper titled "Visibility and Recognition: Power Dynamics in the Representation of Irish Traveller Music Culture" at the BFE Annual Conference "Ethnomusicology and the Present" at King's College London, as part of the session "Minorities and Minoritization".

Representatives of the dialoguing@rts project held a 90-minute symposium at the EAS Conference 2026 in Vienna on the topic “Advance Democracy: Participation, Diversity, and Social Cohesion in Music Education” to present and discuss results from work packages 1–5.

At the end of February, dialoguing@rts was also represented at the conference “Bridging Well-being and (Teacher) Education: A Globalised Perspective to Science Diplomacy,” which took place at Teachers College, Columbia University, and at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. Prof. Dr. Christian Rolle organized an interdisciplinary round table that included perspectives not only from the arts but also from civic education and history education. The panel discussion was titled “Navigating Disagreement: Perspectives on Education for Social Cohesion.”

On 13–14 December 2025, Dr Ronja Kampschulte gave a lecture on participation-oriented cultural projects and the challenges of participatory artistic research at the Annual Meeting of the National Committee of the ICTMD Austria.
