Dissemination of scientific knowledge through professional journals
Brief description:
The results of studies only have value for the improvement of the care situation of children, adolescents and adults with special educational needs if they can be received. Against this background, the aim of our ongoing project is to offer a broad readership the opportunity to obtain up-to-date and well-founded information on the development of progress in our discipline through the publication of specialist journals. The journal "Empirische Sonderpädagogik" (English: Empirical special education) is now considered one of the most important forums in the German-speaking world for the dissemination of scientific findings on the topic of "Disability and Discrimination". It is available both as a print edition and online in open access. The journal "Learning Disabilities: A Contemporary Journal" (LDCJ) is one of the most important publication organs on the topic of "Learning Disabilities" with approximately 24,000 subscribers worldwide.LDCJ is published in printed form and is also available online in full text via the databases "Academic Search Complete" and "ERIC".
