Staff Photos
The goal of staff photos is to give the departments a consistent look. Therefore, we ask that you schedule group appointments for your department via email. Please contact us via email (fotoproduktion.hf(at)uni-koeln.de) to schedule a group appointment for your department. For larger groups, we recommend creating a schedule to ensure a smooth process without waiting times and to give everyone sufficient time in front of the camera.
Individual Appointments:
If you were unable to attend a group session or need an individual portrait for other reasons, you can book this yourself via our Simren booking portal. To do so, reserve a 15-minute time slot in the photo studio. We currently offer individual appointments on Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
When booking, please include your name and the department you belong to in the description.
Photo Collages:
In addition to individual portraits, we create photo collages that combine multiple portraits into a team photo. This way, you’ll receive not only your individual photos but also a collage of the entire staff, which can be updated regularly.
You can find an example of such a collage below.
Clothing:
Please choose modest, colorful clothing for the shoot and avoid black-and-white outfits.
Address:
Frangenheimstraße 4, Building 213, Room 0.23.
The photo studio is accessible via the elevator at the side entrance without steps; however, the studio itself is not barrier-free. If necessary, we can offer you alternative solutions.

Events
We are happy to assist you with the photographic documentation of faculty events. Please contact us well in advance and provide us with the date and details.
Please note the following information regarding third-party funded projects:
If you wish to utilize a media production service from the Media Network for a third-party funded project, the Media Network must receive appropriate compensation for the work performed from the project funds. Therefore, we ask that you list all desired media services from the Media Network before applying for the project so that available resources can be checked, a quote for the respective services can be prepared, and you can include this as an item in your project budget when applying.
