Information on changes to the M.Ed. Pedagogy (LA Gym/Ge) course
Starting in the 2022/23 winter semester
Here you will find information and important documents regarding changes to the M.Ed. Pedagogy (LA Gym/Ge) program for the 2022/23 winter semester.
Starting in the Winter Semester 2022/23, the University of Cologne’s Joint Examination Regulations for the Master of Education program in Teaching at Gymnasien and Gesamtschulen, dated February 26, 2016, will be amended. This will also entail a few minor changes to the M.Ed. Pedagogy program. The course content will remain the same.
To ensure a smooth transition, all students currently enrolled in the M.Ed. Pedagogy program will be transferred to the new examination regulations by the Student Affairs Office for the 2022/23 winter semester (expected in October/November 2022).
This transition affects all students in the M.Ed. Pedagogy program who will NOT have fully completed their studies by the end of the 2022 summer semester.
The transfer will take place with your semester count continuing. Your previous academic achievements in the M.Ed. Pedagogy program will be recognized, so you will not be at a disadvantage.
