The Library
Our library is a reference library and currently contains approximately 32.000 volumes, deposita and special prints. Dedicated sections of the library deal with folk song research and folk song collections from the German-speaking countries (general publications but also specialized literature on specific geographical areas and genres such as workers' songs, childrens' songs, custom songs, choral organizations, school songs). It furthermore contains:
• Didactic song books
• Hymnology
• Collections of dances
• Popular Music Research

As the content of the library is currently not yet available through the official database of the university library, we have made the library database available as a table in html-version contained in the file "Materialien").
