We are very pleased that you are interested in writing your thesis at our department!
We can provide guidance for both your bachelor’s and master’s theses. The faculty members cover a wide range of topics related to people with intellectual and complex disabilities. Information on the research focuses of individual faculty members can be found on their respective pages as well as in the presentations below.

Please note: Our department has an internal application process for thesis supervision, in which you must submit an abstract to us several months before the start of the semester in which you wish to write your thesis. After a set deadline has passed, we will contact you to let you know whether we can supervise your thesis on the desired topic and which faculty members will be supervising it.

Students of Special Education, please note the information regarding the Teacher Education Service Portal:
You must register your theses via a separate ZfL portal and submit them there as well. The ZfL Teacher Education Service Portal allows you to complete all steps related to theses and their approval electronically in a simple, clear, and secure manner.
