Dissertations

The basis for dissertations at the chair is quantitative research. Research should aim for publication in international journals and can consist of several papers instead of a single book. Please note that my capacities for the supervision of dissertations are limited and the number of inquiries surpasses them by far.

Candidates must meet formal requirements as stated in the bylaws of the faculty of Human Sciences. If candidates have not obtained a degree in psychology, they might be required to take additional courses.

Please send your inquiries to Prof. Wolff with the following documents: suggested topic, curriculum vitae, academic record, academic presentations or publications, a significant work sample (academic text, e.g., best chapter of the master thesis).

Prior to acceptance as a doctoral student, candidates should also turn in a synopsis of their dissertation proposal, including research question and design, schedule, and funding prospects.
