Studying  Organizational and Economic Psychology in Cologne:

You can take  courses in Organizational and Economic Psychology both at the undergraduate and  graduate level.

The module  Economic, Organizational and Media studies (WOM) is mandatory at the  undergraduate level with two lectures, one on organizational,  one on media psychology and one seminar (optional media or organizational  psychology). The lecture on organizational psychology provides an introduction of  different topics, such as human resources development, personnel selection,  performance ratings, leadership, work motivation, or groups and teams in organizations.  The seminar usually covers one subject area in depth, offering a choice among several  topics. (See the schedule of lectures Klips 2.0 ).

At the  graduate level (applied Master’s degree), the module Economic and Consumers Psychology  is an elective module consisting of one lecture and two seminars. The lecture covers  a range of topics from economic psychology, as for example advertising, consumer  decisions, price perception, or customer satisfaction. In the seminar both, topics  from economic as well as organizational psychology can be chosen in order to  allow a specialization in accord with personal interest.
