I didn't get a reserved seat for the course I wanted. What should I do?
Please come to the first session of the course and speak with the instructor in person. If there are any available spots, we’ll be happy to help you.
I’d like to write my thesis in the Research Methods department. Where can I find more information?
We have compiled some initial information and helpful documents for you here. There you will also find our “Template for Creating an Exposé” as an editable Word and Pages template. To better advise you and develop a joint plan, we ask that you use the template to create a corresponding exposé. Of course, we’re also happy to advise you via email and/or in a personal meeting.
Who can I contact if I have questions about a course?

Which textbooks can you recommend?

When are exam results posted in Klips?
We record active participation (2 CP) toward the end of the lecture period. The results of our final module exams are recorded approximately one to four weeks after the respective exam.
Do I have to register for the final module exam?
Yes, registration via KLIPS 2.0 is mandatory for every module exam. Registration must be completed no later than six weeks before the exam date. Students who have not properly registered for the exam via KLIPS 2.0 are not permitted to take the exam. Registrations submitted after the deadline may only be accepted by the relevant examination offices in approved exceptional cases for a valid reason.
Can I withdraw from the final module exam?
Yes, you may withdraw from the exam no later than two weeks before the respective exam date without providing a reason. Withdrawals outside the deadlines may only be granted by the relevant examination offices in approved exceptional cases for a valid reason.
Who should I contact if I wish to register for or withdraw from an exam outside the deadlines for a valid reason?
Please contact the examination office responsible for you. We have compiled an overview of the various examination offices and their respective contact persons here for you.
Are you interested in feedback?
