Our Learning Clinic is affiliated to the chair "Conception and Evaluation of Educational Promotion with Focus on Learning" under the direction of Ph.D. (Professor and Chair) Matthias Grünke.
The Learning Outpatient Clinic was founded on 16.02.2008 in cooperation with the KiDS-22q11 e.V. association as a "Learning Competence Center". Over the years, the outpatient clinic's services have been successively expanded. Today, it offers its help to all young people with profound delays in reading, writing and arithmetic. This includes preschool children, schoolchildren and students. The Learning Outpatient Clinic is associated with the Service Center for Inclusion and the Competence Center for Writing at the University of Cologne.
Our team is composed of various professions:
- Psychologists,
- Special education teachers,
- Pedagogues,
- Student assistants and
- Master students in special education.
The Learning Clinic creates a link between promotion, research, teaching and practice. We are constantly reviewing and developing our support services, as it is of particular importance to us to support students in the best possible way.
