Taking Master’s-level courses early
- It is not possible to take Master’s courses early; according to the departments, there is no capacity available for this due to high enrollment numbers.
Registration and Withdrawal
- Registration is mandatory for every final module exam.
- Without registration, you are not eligible to take the exam.
- Registration must generally be completed no later than six weeks before the exam date.
- You may withdraw from the final module exam up to two weeks before the exam date without providing a reason.
Absence and Withdrawal
- If, despite being registered, you fail to take the final module exam without a valid reason, the grade will be “unsatisfactory (5.0)” and the attempt will be counted as a failed attempt.
- Valid reasons must be communicated to the Examination Office in writing without delay and substantiated.
- In the event of illness, a medical certificate must be submitted. You can send this to the Examination Office via email using this form.
Retake
- Failed final module exams may be retaken.
- Registration for retake exams is also required by the deadlines listed in KLIPS 2.0. There is no automatic registration!
- The number of exam attempts per module is limited. You can find detailed information in your examination regulations.
