CEfAS main fields of operation
CEfAS acts as center for research and co-ordination.
- As center for Aging Studies CEfAS focusses on:
- Studies on the effect of Interventions in complex environments
- Studies on cultural and social aging.
- As co-ordination point for interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary co-operation,
- CEfAS organises study possibilities that transcend any given field and faculty boundaries; they explore the risks and opportunities presented by demographic changes in professional and social contexts.
- CEfAS promotes a transfer of knowledge concerning matters related to age and aging by means of interdisciplinary co-operation and also by transdisciplinary dialogue with the political and economic worlds, as well as with associations, initiatives and the general public.
