The University Learning Clinic has been part of the Department of Special Education and Rehabilitation at the University of Cologne since 2008. It serves two purposes: providing individualised support for children, adolescents, and university students with learning difficulties, and offering practical training for prospective special education teachers.. 

Our services include comprehensive diagnostic assessment and tailored intervention in reading, spelling, and mathematics. For students at the University of Cologne with dyslexia, our assessment office provides documentation to apply for examination accommodations. 

Diagnostic assessments and interventions are carried out by advanced students under professional supervision. This integration of research, teaching, and practice defines the work of the clinic.
