Media and Communication Lab

The Media and Communication Lab at the University of Cologne is headed by Prof. Dr. Dr. Kai Kaspar and investigates the effects of (social) media on users’ perception, thinking, and behavior. The lab is equipped with a stationary and mobile eye-tracking technology, Virtual Reality setups, gaming setups, video recording technology, and expertise in video animation. The lab also manages the ViLLA-Portal
