The foundation aims to achieve the following:

“We want to leave the world a little more humane than we found it”

We contribute to spreading the ideas of the humanistic view of humanity throughout the world. In doing so, we aim to demonstrate that humanity and faith in the positive development of people should be accepted and put into practice in a market-driven society. For us, a humanistic view of humanity encompasses the acceptance and application of the following principles:

1. Human beings are inherently good, unique, and valuable

2. Every person is capable of learning

3. The person comes before the method

4. The focus of thought and action is on the well-being and growth of the individual

5. Growth through critical events

6. There is no such thing as too much kindness

Programmatic Focus

The foundation’s purpose is to honor individuals who are committed to living out and helping to shape the humanistic psychology’s view of humanity within organizations. This includes the development of a model or concept and its application or proven attempts at its implementation.
The Kluge Family Foundation operates at the intersection of science and practice: in the home, at school, and in the workplace.

Mission

We want to support small flickering flames with oxygen and fuel so that the flames can blaze further and higher and develop into a fruitful wildfire.

Vision

We aim to ensure that economic activity (including in non-profit organizations such as schools) and the appreciation of people and their contributions within organizations are no longer viewed or experienced as opposing forces.
