Introduction
The Faculty of Human Sciences’ web server serves to represent the faculty both internally and externally, to disseminate information, and to support the faculty’s activities. It provides the framework for a consistent visual identity.
Responsibility and Authority
No guarantee is provided for the operation or the accuracy and timeliness of the information. Operation and primary organization are the responsibility of the Network Media Center.
The Dean’s Office bears overall responsibility for content and decides on the admissibility of data in cases of doubt. Upon request, the Network Media Center provides faculty members with accounts to enter data into the Faculty of Human Sciences’ website. Otherwise, members of the faculty’s departments present their information independently. The basis for this presentation is the corporate identity and corporate design adopted by the University of Cologne.
Responsibility for Links
In its ruling of May 12, 1998, the Hamburg Regional Court decided that by providing a link, one may be held jointly responsible for the content of the linked page. According to the court, this can only be prevented by expressly distancing oneself from this content.
The administrators of all web servers operated by ZAIK/RRZK hereby declare:
