The Representative Bodies of Employees with Disabilities: Alliance partner in networks. Factors for a successful cooperation to maintain employability


As a guide in operational prevention and inclusion, the Representative Bodies of Employees with Disabilities (RD) facing, due to social changes, new obstacles and challenges. Their range of activities as well as internal and external alliance partners, who can contribute to maintain employability, should be analyzed and factors for a successful cooperation should be identified.


As initial step the range of activities of the RD are determine via a standardized nationwide online survey. As next step 4-5 companies are interviewed in an expert interview to analyze and evaluate ensembles of relations as well as their intensity and quality. The focus lies on the analysis of the cooperation between RD and the company/staff council. The third step is to discuss the results with the RDs and internal as well as external participant and to derive recommendations for operational practice.
