External Evaluation of the Pilot Scheme “Learning Trade: Post School Actors’ Rating“
Youngsters with special educational needs experience the specific difficulty of the transition from school to work as a disconnected disruption of the individual support they used to receive. This accounts not only for the preprofessional support and training, but also for the integration into work. The Pilot Scheme “Learning Trade” aimed at contributing to decrease this difficulty. Its goal was to establish a stronger linkage between school curricula and the practices of the working environment. The external evaluation applied to to the post-school phase. The purpose was to identify the competencies required from the companies’ point of view, and to trace the youngsters' track after leaving school.
