Attention and prominence in language production and acquisition

Das Forschungsprojekt  "Attention and prominence in language production and acquisition" (B06) ist an das Collaborative Research Centre 1252 „Prominence in Language" (Sprecher: Prof. Dr. Klaus von Heusinger) angebunden und wird im Rahmen des von der DFG ab 01. Januar 2017 eingerichteten neuen Sonderforschungsbereich (SFB) umgesetzt.

Wie wird Information in Sprache organisiert und strukturiert? Der Faktor der „Prominenz" spielt eine zentrale Rolle beim Aufbau sprachlicher Strukturen. Der Sonderforschungsbereich „Prominenz in Sprache" verbindet anhand der formulierten Frage nicht nur verschiedenste Teilbereiche der Linguistik wie Phonetik/Phonologie, Morphologie, Syntax, Semantik, Pragmatik und Diskurs. Er untersucht auch die Beziehungen zwischen linguistischer Prominenz und generellen kognitiven Mechanismen wie der Akzentuierung von Aufmerksamkeit - so ergeben sich Anknüpfungspunkte an die Psychologie und die Klinische Linguistik.
