Accompanying Research of the Project „InkA - Inclusion Project for thejoint training of adolescents with and without disabilities"

 

Aims

InkA is a project of UnternehmensForum e.V.  Its aim is to create 40 additional apprenticeships for adolescents withsevere disabilities over a six year period (2013-2019). The current trainingstructures of the project partners are to this end adapted to the theadolescents' needs: In cooperation with the network barriers are beingidentified and removed.

From this InkA derives recommendations foraction and engages in public relations thus sustainably improving thestructures in the inclusive training. Additional goals of the project include araised awareness for the subject in employers and other concerned parties aswell and a change in education policies.

Method

The Unit of Labour and VocationalRehabilitation's accompanying academic research evaluates to what extent thesegoals are being achieved and focuses especially on the heterogeneous goals ofthe companies and the adolescents. Different research methods such as individualand group interviews, (online-) questionnaires, network analysis and processsupport are applied.
