Evaluation of the theatre intervention “Every career starts with a first step”
This research examines a theatre-project themed Work Life, which is offered to special needs students in six different schools in Cologne. The project is designed to support teenage vocational competence and targets to encourage their personalities as well as their understanding of the changing demands of work life. As a result, positive effects within the class atmosphere and impulses for school-wide development can be expected.
Quasi experimental design is applied. We collect data using questionnaire as well as semi-standardized interviews and behavioural monitoring.
